Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) is inviting applications for the recruitment of 916 Clerks.The bank is expanding its network of 1409 branches by adding 100 more to reach 1500 branches by 2010.

Eligibility : To apply for clerical positions in Oriental Bank of Commerce,
* General/OBC - A Degree in any discipline/any class from a recognized university OR must have scored atleast 50% marks(aggregate) in 12th or its equivalent examination.
* SC/ST – Pass in 10+2 examination is enough to apply for these positions.
* Age must be within 18yrs to 28yrs
* Read/Write/Speak the official language of the state applying for.
* Knowledge in Dos,Windows,Ms-Word,Excel& MS-Office is necessary.Certificate in computer course from any training centre must be submitted at the time of appointment(or within 6 months of joining the bank,if selected)
Selection : The selection process for the recruitment of clerks in OBC will have a Written test & Interview as usual.The written test to be held on December 27,will be for 200 marks,with duration of 95 minutes.There will be negative marks for each wrong answer
Application : The application fee of Rs.300(Gen/OBC) or Rs.50(SC/ST) has to be paid at any branch of Oriental Bank of Commerce before 10.11.2009.The payment receipt obtained must be specified in the online application & has to be given at the time of exam.
