The Probationary Officer recruitment programme is being conducted by ICICI bank for the past few years wherein selected candidates are trained in banking operations &.skills related to it.They are then appointed as Assistant Managers ,after completion of training.
Eligibility: Applicants looking to apply for ICICI Bank PO 2011 recruitment,
* Not be above upto 25yrs of age, as on May 1st 2011
* Should have completed graduation with 55% aggregate marks.

Selection: The selection process involves the following stages -Aptitude test, GD & Interview.Candidates shortlisted after these stages will have to undergo training at Manipal Academy (Bangalore) for 14 months(with stipend).
During this period, they will be enrolled for MBA degree (Banking & Finance). After one year, an option to exit the degree is made available.On successful completion of training, candidates would be appointed in ICICI Bank as Asst.Managers with annual salary of more than 3.5 lakhs
Applying: Those interested just have to fill in the application form & submit it online.Since there are no registration or application fees to be paid, you need not send any DD or challan copy to the bank.

sir i am graduate from rgpv bhopal university. according to my university rule my agregate percentage is 62%(1st and 2nd year 10%,3rd year 20% and final year 70% weightage)in my degree certificate i have got 62%. but my average is 54 %(total marks/full marks of all year).most banking exam take 55% aggregate. could i eligible for bank exam.
what they take average or aggregate? please sir reply me so i will choose the future in banking exam. thank you sir..

I have a doubt regarding this one. It has been mentioned in the selection process where the selected candidates will be enrolled for MBA banking and finance degree. My doubt is Ive already completed my MBA in Human Resource/Marketing. So am i eligible for this PO recruitment? Thanks in advance.
What would be the stipend during the training programme (till 14 months) in banglore.
Ramesh, Aggregate marks are taken for bank exams.Adding all marks scored in all subjects & years & dividing by total of maximum marks is aggregate.

Vinoth,There is an option to exit the course after 1 year-for which you will get PGDB(PG dip. in banking) degree.
The stipend is Rs.2500(for 9 months) & above Rs.10,000(for next 3 months)
final year graduate students are eligible to apply for this job
Are there no reservations for STs (or any other) in age and education qualification as per the Govt rules?

Sir, as you said stipend will will be 2500 for 9 months. does the bank provide residence, food etc. also? coz for someone from outside bangalore, 25oo are not sufficient for living if he has no other source of income.
yes they provide hostel facility with mess. rs.2500 is for ur pocket expenses
Sir,I have already completed the 2 years full time PGDM in Finance & International Business. So, the persons like me have to undergo this training upto 14 months...
or Is there any training programme having the duration less than 14 months so that we can be immediately absorbed as Assistant managers??..

The training is compulsory for all.But after 12 months, you can exit the training & join as Asst.Manager in ICICI bank

sir, i have completed my btech with computer sciance background in 2011..n i dont have a pg qualification...n when am trying to apply for the po post when i click submit it is asking me for pg qualification..sir wat should i do.am i not eligible to apply for the post if so wat should i keep in pg column..pls rply me asap sir...

i logged in for icici po 2011 recruitment, i got my login id and a password. but when i am logging into it.instead of my profile i get to see other persons profile with my id. if any1 has d same issue. and had got rectified by icici authorities do let me. as i have tired out through icici authorities but they dont revert back on this issue..

Rajendar, U hav to contact the ICICI Bank recruitment dept to clarify on that.But we think its not possible to conduct exam for you alone on a sep.date.
