Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) has announced recruitment of clerks though the no. of vacancies are not revealed.Started in 1916, KVB is one of the leading private banks with head office in Tamilnadu.The bank has over 360 branches across India & is planning to increase it for 450.
Karur Vysya Bank earlier had recruited candidates who were found qualifying in IBPS clerical common written examination.But now, they seem to have reverted back to individual selection process.
In a way separate exams for jobs in banks helps IBPS disqualified applicants also to become eligible for these recruitments.

Who are Eligible
Since IBPS CWE scores are not required to apply for KVB clerk recruitment 2013, here are their eligibility conditions,
- Age not more than 28 yrs (for UG) & 30 yrs (for PG), as on 31.08.2010
- Must have completed bachelor`s degree (any discipline) with atleast 50% marks.
- Computer course certificate from a recognized institute (not required for applicants with computer science as major)
- Should have a full time degree from regular college
Those with degree through part-time/ correspondence/ distance education are not eligible
The application/exam fee of Rs.500 must be paid through Demand draft payable at Chennai.

Procedure of Selection
All applicants have to go through the following processes - Online test (objective) & Personal Interview.
The test would be conducted at test centres in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamilnadu & West Bengal.Those found eligible for the test would get to know the exact time, date & location of exam while issuing admit cards.
One has to remember that only those who qualify in the test shall be called for Interview.
