So, in just 16 days from the closing date canara bank has come up with its interviewing schedule which is pretty fast compared to other banks.

As far the eligibility conditions were concerned, the bank had only called those with 60% marks in 10th or 50% in HSC or pass in degree to submit applications.

9000+ to attend!!

Canara bank having shortlisted the necessary number of candidates (over 9000) for interview sessions, emails will be sent intimating about the schedule.

Personal interviews are to be held from July 30, 2012.The facility to download call latter shall be put up on the bank`s site shortly, it says.

Scoring pattern

The total marks for GD & Interview are 200, each carrying 100 marks.

  • In addition to this, a proficiency test in the official language of the state you applied for, is to be conducted & marks shall be awarded for the same.

These scores would be converted for 100 marks for the purpose of final merit list preparation.

All applicants chosen?

Yes, going by the words mentioned in canara bank`s official statement it seems everyone who had applied have been shortlisted for the next stages of selection.

The cutoff scores for Interviews are also not mentioned.So it is possible for the bank to have retained the same score specified in the advt.
