Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI) recruitment for 500 executives has been put up today.Established 40 years ago, IDBI now functions as a full service commercial bank.With govt. of India as majority shareholder, the bank is headquartered in Mumbai & has network of 970 branches across India.
Although a banking company, IDBI bank does not feature in the 19 public sector banks that conduct hiring through IBPS CWE platform.Hence a separate examination is to be held for applicants.
It is NOT necessary for applicants to have qualified in the IBPS common written test.
Positions:
Executive – 500 posts
| This is a contract job, which will be extendable upto 3 years with monthly salary of Rs.12000 (1yr) 13500 (2nd yr) & 15000 (3rd yr).On completion of 3 yrs, executives can apply for Asst.Manager post in IDBI bank. |

Written test on September 16, 2012 (IDBI bank has postponed the date of exam, see notice here )
Eligibility:
As said earlier, IBPS scorecards are not needed.The other eligibility for this IDBI bank recruitment are,
- Pass in graduation (any degree) from a recognized university
- Aged should not be more than 25 yrs as on June 1, 2012 (+3 yrs for OBC, +5 for sc/st)
- Must posses good working knowledge in computers
The selection process of IDBI bank Executive Recruitment involves Written test (objective type) that is to held at select centers (cities).You will have an option to choose a desired centre in the application form.

Those clearing the exam shall be shortlisted for Interview & based on their performance
in both these stages, final selection is made.
Fees:
Interested candidates have to pay Rs.400 (Gen/OBC) or Rs.75 (SC/ST/PWD) as non-refundable fee between 10 to 23.07.2012 at any IDBI or SBI branches using the challans given in the website.
If you intend to remit the fees through SBI branches, add Rs.50 extra as service charge
Collect challan counterfoil with transaction details from the bank after depositing fees as it has to be produced along with call letter during the exam.
