Vijaya Bank has started its recruitment of clerks & is inviting IBPS clerical CWE qualifiers only to apply for these posts.The bank was established in the year 1931 is today one of the leading among small sized PSB in India.With head office in Bangalore (Karnataka), it has over 1300 branches across 28 states.
While a good number of banks have started personal interview process for clerical jobs, top scorers applying for recruitments hereafter could slow down which may reduce multiple selections.This continues to be the hope of numerous candidates waiting for their chance.
Position:
Clerk – 800 posts (across states) with salary of approx. Rs.12,700 /month

Eligibility criteria:
The conditions fixed to apply for Vijaya bank clerical recruitment 2012 are,
- Age of min.18 & max.28 years, as on 1.08.2011
- Should have 60% marks in SSLC/10th OR 50% marks in HSC (10+2) OR pass in graduation (as on Aug 1, 2011)
- Be able to read, write & speak the state`s official language & English.
- Can apply for vacancies in a state where he/she had appeared to write the IBPS common clerk exam
Applicants must posses valid clerical exam scorecards with the following metrics,
- General category: 24 in each test section
- Others: 21 in each section
State-wise TWS scores are mentioned by the bank as shown in the image above & only those who have secured above it are eligible to apply.
Selection:
From the application received and depending on the no. of vacancies – Vijaya bank shall shortlist only those who rank high in each state & category (as per IBPS CWE scores) for next stage of selection – Interviews .
Though there is no obligation for appointees to sign service bond, the probation period is 6 months.

If you satisfy the eligibility conditions, print a fee payment challan from their website.Visit any branch of vijaya bank to pay the application fees of Rs.100 (gen/obc) or Rs.20 (others).
Collect the challan counterfoil/ receipt & proceed to submit your online application available at www.vijayabank.com & enter the required details.
Remember to keep your fee payment receipt & application print in safe custody for they should be produced at the time of Interview.
