  • Cutoffs are applied at two levels – section-wise & total-wise
  • There are 5 sections as part of online test. You will have to secure a minimum score (fixed by IBPS) in each section.
  • On total score: Similarly, a separate cutoff shall be fixed on the total score that you should attain.

Only those who have secured the above scores are declared QUALIFIED in the RRB exams.

Interviews for each Bank

There exists a common interview procedure for PO & clerk positions. But rural banks don't follow such a structure.

IBPS has clearly advised qualified candidates to watch out for RRB recruitment advertisements & submit individual online applications based on the eligibility notified by each.

The regional banks would then shortlist from applications received & call them for personal interviews.

10000 Posts may be Filled

The regional rural banks collectively had recruited around 9500 people for officer & assistant level posts in 2011.

It is expected for these RRB`s to fill around 6000-8000 vacancies this year too as per the experts.

Since these banks are located only in a particular state with just a handful number of branches - one cannot expect huge intake as witnessed in large PSB`s.
