Indian Bank 1200 Clerk Recruitment – Final Results Announced

While aspirants are gearing up for the IBPS clerk common exam 2012, these results could leave some happy.

The main reason could be the updated rules being enforced in this latest edition of CWE which were non-existent previously.

1201 Clerk Posts

For a total of 1201 clerk vacancies notifications were released by Indian bank in the month of June 2012.Of the total available positions, bulk of it were in the states of Tamilnadu (357) & Andhra Pradesh (285)

Like in other bank recruitments, eligibility TWS scores were specified & only those above it were called to submit their applications.

Final results 

Based on the scores, candidates were shortlisted in the ratio of 1:5 & statewise, categorywise cutoffs were fixed for personal interviews held in August.

On expected lines, the final selection is done by combining your scores of IBPS CWE & interview to arrive at a merit list.

From this list those found eligible for appointment as clerk in the bank have been declared.The official docs containing roll numbers can be downloaded from their site here

Joining:

Appointment letters are being sent to the selected people from their respective zonal offices, says Indian bank.They have also advised the candidates to report for induction training on the given dates along with necessary documents.

Waiting lists are being released continuously for PO jobs by various banks.So if there are any dropouts, Indian bank ‘may’ also come out with 2nd list for these clerical posts.

Since its not possible to know their future course of action at this stage, we may have to wait further.
