Haryana Gramin Bank (HGB), formed in the year 2005 is the leading regional rural banks (RRB) in the state of Haryana.Sponsored by Punjab national bank, HGB has announced its recruitment of officers & office assistants.The RRB having head office in Rohtak currently provides banking services through 250+ branches across 16 districts with 1000+ employees.
IBPS is yet to issue scorecards for qualifiers of RRB common exam 2012 but HGB has started its recruitment activities.So candidates can hope to receive their scorecards in the coming weeks or before the interviews begin.

Officer (scale I) – 115; scale II & III – 14
The monthly salary shall be approx.Rs.13,212 (OA), Rs.26,535 (scI), Rs.35,502 (scII) & Rs.47,031 (scIII)
Who are eligible:
If you wish to apply for Haryana gramin bank, possessing the following eligibility criteria is necessary,
- Agelimit: 18 – 28 yrs for assistants & scale I officers, 21 – 32 yrs for scale II & below 40 yrs for scale III, as on 1.06.2012 (max age +5yrs for sc/st, +3 for obc)
- Must posses degree in any discipline from a recognized university
- Should have passed Hindi language in matric/std.X & also be proficient in the state`s official lang.
- Candidates from any state are eligible as domicile restrictions are not specified
In addition to the above, you ought to have the following minimum scores in the IBPS RRB common exams 2012,
Selection process
The procedure is not any different & is the same that was practiced for recruitment in public banks.
Based on the TWS score of applicants, HGB will shortlist candidates in the ratio of 1:3 for personal interviews to held in Rohtak (haryana) for 30 marks.
From the final scores, a merit list shall be prepared under each category & they would be offered appointment in the bank.

The application fee is fixed at Rs.100 (Gen/OBC/) & Rs.20 (SC/ST) which must be paid in cash at any branch of Haryana gramin bank or Punjab national bank using the given challans before December 8.
