So, dont expect to get posting within your home state.

Is there state-wise cutoffs in IBPS PO 2016 exams?

No state wise cutoffs.IBPS PO exam cutoffs are declared for all india level only.

There are no vacancies in few banks. Will they announce later?

As of now, out of the 20 participating banks, 6 have not reported 0 vacancies.

Among the six, Bank of Baroda & Indian Overseas Bank did not recruit through IBPS exams last year also.Poor business performance & rising bad loans forced RBI to take action against few banks.

Corporation bank, Dena bank, Indian bank, Bank of Maharastra are the other 4 banks with 0 vacancies for 2017-18.All of them seem to struggle with abundant NPAs which could be the reason behind this delay in intimating their posts to IBPS.

IBPS on the other hand has kept option open by saying the vacancy list is only temporary & will be updated incase banks create new posts in future.
