Bank of Baroda is inviting applications to fill specialist officer vacancies in scale II & III.Although IBPS SO exam is conducted, it is only for freshers.
Post & Vacancies:
As part of Bank of Baroda Specialist Officer Recruitment Project 2015-16, there are total of 250 posts (across various disciplines)
Salary: Officers are being recruited directly into higher grades & hence the salary is also higher.
- Middle Management Grade – Scale II (MMG /S II): Rs.49, 585 /month
- Middle Management Grade – Scale III (MMG /S III): Rs.65, 434 /month
The above salary figures are inclusive of DA & allowances such as SA, HRA, CCA etc.,

Who are Eligible:
Since there are many positions to be filled through this recruitment, we are explaining the eligibility conditions for top posts only.
Finance/Credit (scale II):
There are 95 openings for this position & if you wish to apply, you should be
- Aged between 25 – 35 years as on 13.04.2016
- CA or ICWA or Full time MBA (Finance) or PGDBM (Finance)
- Atleast 4 yrs experience in Credit Processing /Appraisal, post
sanction monitoring of loans preferably in large banks.
Information Technology (scale II):
35 vacancies have been divided between IT Specialist (25) & Software Development (10)
- Age to be minimum 25 yrs & maximum of 35 yrs as on April 13, 2016
- 4 yr Engineering or Technology UG degree or PG degree in Computer Science/
Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics &
Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in large banks required.
Additional degree or diploma or certificate in Networking,Programming,Database, IT Security,Languages etc. are desired though not compulsory.
Human Resource Management (scale II): Applicant must have completed 2 years MBA/ PGDM in HRM/ Personnel Management /Industrial Relations/ HRD
4 yr experience of working in banks/ financial institution in the field of HR is necessary.
Law (scale II): Bachelors degree in law is required.They need to posses 3 year experience as advocate OR law officer in legal dept of bank.
There will be an online written test & candidates who qualify in this test shall be called for Group discussion & Interviews.
The online examination shall contain 200 questions for 200 marks & must be attempted within 2 hours duration.There will be 0.25 negative marks for each wrong answer.
Depending on the performance of candidates in the test. they would be shortlisted for Interview in the ratio of 1:4 (gen) & 1:5 for SC/ST/OBC, with preference given to experienced.
Bank of Baroda has decided to conduct the online test only at Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata & Chennai.The dates of this test shall be intimated later.
All selected candidates on appointment should sign a service bond to serve the bank for a minimum of 3 years or pay Rs.1.5 lakh incase of discontinuation.
