To realise those dreams, the IBPS Clerk CWE V (2015) was announced to fill clerical cadre vacancies for the year 2016-17 in 23 govt. banks across India.


The registrations started during the the month of August 2015 which was followed by written tests (prelims/ mains) in January 2016.

What are the IBPS Clerk Cutoffs?

Unlike PO, clerical positions are filled state-wise & hence each state has a different cutoff fixed as per the total number of vacancies.The bankwise & statewise list of vacancies is given in the notification


You can get more information on these cutoffs, reserve list etc., by downloading the official notification about this provisional allotment from their website here.

What is the purpose of date of birth & why is it given in brackets?

When two candidates have obtained the same score, their ages are calculated & senior person is preferred first & then the junior one.


That is why we see date of births mentioned next to the scores to show the merit order.

The total number of clerk jobs for the year 2016-17 is 24,604 which is pretty much lower than expected.
