RBI Assistants Prelims 2017 Exam: Results Out | Mains on December 20


The RBI Assistants Prelims 2017 Exam Results have been released.This examination was part of the selection process of 600 assistants in Reserve Bank of India.RBI, being the central bank of the nation, always creates lot of excitement among aspirants looking for bank jobs.Candidates shortlisted in prelims should appear for the mains to be held on December 20th.

 

The RBI assistants recruitment 2017 for 620 vacancies was released in the month of November.With state-wise vacancies, the average salary for an assistant in RBI was approximately Rs.32,258 / month.

 

Inorder to qualify for the posts, candidates need to appear for two stages of online test – Prelims & Mains.

 

RBI Assistants Prelims 2017 Results

The RBI assistants preliminary exams were held on november 27 & 28, 2017 at various centres across India.

 

It was like any other bank exam of 100 minutes with the paper consisting of sections (i) English Language ii) Numerical ability and (iii) Reasoning ability.

 

Within 2 week`s time, the bank has declared the results by publishing a list of candidates who have successfully cleared the prelims.

Marks & Cutoffs: The objective exam was for a total of 100 marks.Inorder to get selected for mains, you should have secured the minimum cutoff in each test & also on the total score.

 

Both successful & unsuccessful candidates can know their marks & category-wise cutoffs once its released on RBI website in the next 2 weeks.

 

Get Ready for Mains

The RBI assistants main examinations are scheduled to happen on December 20, 2017. It is also an online test for 200 marks & has 5 different sections.

 

 

Some important information about the main examination II that you must know are:

  • Candidates should pass in each section of the main examination
  • There are negative marks (0.25) for each wrong answer
  • All those who qualify in mains will have to appear for language proficiency test.(see list of languages for each state)

Since the English paper is to test your descriptive (long format) writing skills, answers must be typed using the keyboard in the computer itself.

Who are Eligible?

To apply for SSC CHSL 2017 exam, you are required to satisfy certain eligibility conditions such as,

 

- Agelimit: 18 – 27 yrs as on 1.08.2018  (+5yrs: SC/ST,+3yrs:OBC +10yrs: PH)

 

- Pass in Std.12 or equivalent as on Jan 1, 2017

 

As the minimum educational qualification is 12th std, all those who have a degree from regular or distance education (must be from recognized university) are also eligible to apply.

 

Since these jobs are not part of banking sector, IBPS exam scores are NOT required to apply.

 

Examination Process:

SSC shall conduct an objective written examination for the above mentioned posts.

  • For Data Entry Operator, there will a Written exam & Skill test (data entry)
  • Postal/ Sorting Assistant, Lower Division Clerk & Court Clerks: Written test & Typing test.

The written test consists of two stages – Tier I (objective questions), Tier II (descriptive test) & Tier III (typing/ skill test)

- Should have passed 10th standard from the state where they are choosing to apply.

 

- Must have completed under graduation (UG), as on 1.11.2017.Candidates with higher qualifications are not eligible to apply.

 

- Applicant must be a resident of the state, they are opting to apply.

 

- Candidates must know to read/ write & speak the language of the state they choose to apply.

 

Selection Process:

The RBI office attendants recruitment exam 2018 consists of an online test and language proficiency test (LPT)

 

The online test consists of objective type (computer based) questions for 120 marks in i) Reasoning (ii) English (iii) General awareness and iv) Numerical Ability.

Only those who pass in each test & secure minimum cutoff marks shall qualify for the RBI assistant language proficiency test.

SSC CGL 2017: Tier I Results Out | Cutoffs - Check Here!!


ssc cgl posts for above 27 years of age,What posts are eligible for those above 27yrs,SSC Post Preferences for Divorce women WidowsThe SSC CGL 2017 tier I exam results were declared today by the Staff Selection Commission on their official website, ssc.nic.in.They have also released the list of number of qualified candidates along with the official category-wise cutoffs.The selected candidates are shortlisted for the Tier II exam to be held in the month of December 2017. The final list of successful individuals will be based on Tier I, II and III stages.

 

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) had conducted the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2017 exam in the month of August at various centres across India.

 

A total of 15.43 lakh candidates had appeared for the SSC CGL 2017 tier I examinations from August 5 to 23, says an official statement from SSC.

 

SSC CGL 2017 Tier I Results: Only 10% Pass

Based on the tier I online examination, the category-wise cutoffs and results of individuals chosen for Tier II exams have been declared.

 

According to which, here is the breakdown of qualified candidates for each post:

 

Tier II (paper I & II) and Tier III: 1,50,404

 

Tier II (paper-I, paper-II and paper-III) and Tier-III: 10, 311 (only for JSO post)

 

Tier-II (paper-I, paper-II and paper-IV) and Tier-III: 15,450 (only for post of AAO)

 

Of the 15.43 lakh candidates, only 1.5 lakh have managed to pass for tier II, which is approximately 10% of the total attendance.

 

It has to be noted that 3805 vacancies were notified by SSC, that are to be filled with the final qualifiers of SSC CGL 2017.

Your Doubts about IT Officer Eligibility

Individuals with engineering or technology degree in the following disciplines are eligible to apply for IT Officer (scale I) postition in IBPS SO 2017/ 2018 recruitment.

 

- UG (BE/ BTech) or PG in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation OR

 

- Any graduate with DOEACC ‘B’ level certificate

 

The course duration of UG course should be 4 years.

 

Q: I have completed BE/ B.Tech Mechanical engineering.

A: You are not eligible to apply

 

Q: Should I need experience to apply for IT Officer vacancies?

A: No.Freshers are also eligible

 

Q: I did my degree through correspondence (distance education).Shall I apply?

A: Yes.

 

Q: Are Electrical & Electronics/ Electrical engineering degree holders eligible?

A: No.EEE is not mentioned under the list of educational qualifications given in the notification.So applicants with that degree may not be eligible.

 

Q: Can MCA graduates apply for IT Officer?

A: Yes.

 

Q: I will complete my course in May 2018 / I am in final semester/year.

A: Final year/ semester students are not eligible for IBPS SO recruitment 2018.

 

Only those candidates who have completed their degree as on November 27, 2017 are alone permitted to apply.

Computer Certificate Necessary

Candidates applying for Agri officer, Marketing Officer, HR Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari & Law Officer:

  • Should have studied Computers or IT as one of the subject in their High School or College or Institute.

If not, then they must hold a certificate or diploma in computer operations or language.

 

This is an important eligibility condition & hence would be verified at the time of Interview.

 

All those registering for IT Officer, are not required to have this certificate.

 

Your Agriculture Officer Eligibility Doubts

To submit application for Agricultural Field Officer, you need to posses these qualifications:

Q: I am having 3 years experience in software MNC.Can I apply for Agri.officer?

A: If you are an agriculture graduate & possess the necessary eligibility conditions, then you are eligible to apply.Experience is not required.

 

Q: I did Agri in UG & MBA in PG.Will I be able to apply?

A: Yes, you are eligible for AFO position since you had completed agri in UG.

 

Q: Are BE Biotechology graduates eligible to apply for agriculture field officer post?

A: Biotechnology is not mentioned in the list of degrees eligible for IBPS SO (AFO) vacancy.So candidates with biotechnology cannot apply.

 

Marketing & HR Officer Eligibility Doubts

To apply for Marketing Officer vacancies you need

  • To complete any degree in UG & Full time MMS/ MBA/ PGDBA/ PGDBM with specialization in marketing.

For HR Officer vacancy,

  • Any degree in graduation & PG degree (regular) in Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations/ HR/ HRD/ Social Work /Labour Law is necessary.

Q: I completed MBA through distance education.Is it eligible?

A: No. Candidates applying for HR & Marketing vacancies should have studied their PG degrees/ diploma ONLY through regular colleges (2 year course).

 

Q: I have only UG degree.Can I still apply for HR or Marketing officer?

A: Post graduation degree is compulsory.UG degree alone is not necessary.

Dual Specialization in MBA?

Candidates who had opted for dual specialization in their MBA are confused on whether they are eligible for this IBPS specialist officer exam 2016.The preceding explanations should clarify more on this.

 

Q: I have dual specializations in MBA.There is no major & minor subjects in my degree.Am I eligible?

A: Yes, you are eligible for the posts if any of the specialization is in the prescribed discipline (HR for HR officer/ Marketing for Marketing officer)

 

Q: I did MBA with Finance as major & HR as minor specialization.Can I apply for HR officer?

A: Since HR is your minor specialization, you are NOT eligible.

 

Q: I had Marketing as major & Finance as minor.Am I elgible for Marketing Officer post?

Who are Eligible?

 

The eligibility criteria for registrants to fulfill for this IBPS SPL VI are listed below for each discipline.Read them carefully as you wont be allowed to apply if you don’t posses any one.

 

- Age should be 20 - 30 years as on Nov 1, 2017 (add +3 yrs for OBC, +5yrs for SC/ST, +10yrs for PWD)

There are no Scale II or III exams in this year`s IBPS SO recruitment.

 

Testing Methods

IBPS had taken the online route for PO & clerical CWEs. Similarly specialist officer examination would also be a computer based test with two stages - preliminary and main exams.

       

Prelims: The online preliminary written exam will be conducted at various centres in India in December 2017.A total of 150 objective questions need to be answered within 120 minutes.

 

It will consist of questions from sections such as english language, reasoning and general awareness/ quantitative aptitude.

Main exam: A paper/ section on ‘Professional Knowledge’ for 60 marks with questions from the subject related to the post you apply (Agriculture for agri field officers, Computers & IT for IT officer, Marketing for marketing officer etc.,).

 

How to Submit Registrations

The application fee is Rs.600 (Gen/OBC) & Rs.100 (SC/ST/PWD), which must be paid only via online mode through the payment gateway integrated in the online application.

 

On successful completion of payment, an e-receipt would be generated that you may save for future reference.

 

After submitting the registration form, make sure to note down your registration number & password in addition to taking a print of the application form.
