IBPS Clerk Common Interviews Starts March 16 | Things To Do

The wait is finally over for clerk job aspirants.IBPS has published the detailed timetable of common interviews for clerks recruitment in public sector banks.A similar process was conducted to fill probationary officers vacancies for which candidates are awaiting allotment orders.

 

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection had announced the results for clerk CWE held in December 2012.Although exact number of passouts was not known, it is believed that atleast 1 lakh might have qualified for the interviewing stage.

 

Interviews from March 16

Successful candidates are set to appear in the 1st clerical common interviews starting March 16.It is also stated that an intimation email/ SMS about interview date, time & centre would also be sent.

• Common interview for clerks recruitment – March 16 onwards
• Combined result of CWE & interview – April 2nd week
• Notification of clerical vacancies (around 30000) – Last week of April
• Preference registration & Allotments – May 2013

Since clerical vacancies exist state-wise, you will most probably allotted a venue within the state opted at the time of online application.

22400 Bank PO Jobs for IBPS CWE II Qualifiers | Full List Out!!

How many times have you questioned about the upcoming bank jobs in 2013?Nobody could have answered it as government banks do not disclose them at early stage of recruitment.But it is to change from the year 2013, as for the first time IBPS has published the list of 22000 PO vacancies in public sector banks.

 

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is responsible for conducting common written examinations on behalf of PSB in India to fill PO & clerk level positions.

 

Interview Results in Few Days

The CWE – II for PO/ MT was conducted in the month of June 2012 & passouts were invited to attend common interviews which started from January 14 onwards.

 

Having completed interviewing all candidates, the institute has decided to of publish the combined results of CWE & interview in 2nd week of February 2013

Successful candidates should also register their preference for all banks/ organisations starting Feb 20 to 28 by visiting IBPS website, says that release.

 

List of 22000 PO Jobs

As per the new procedure, IBPS had to display the vacancies to be filled in each bank through CWE process.

Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) tops the listing with 2300 vacant positions & Canara Bank comes second with 2000 vacancies.There is also Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (ECGC) with 30 posts.

In total 22,415 PO cadre employees are to be recruited in 2013-14.Last year 19,000 officer jobs were created of 60000 seats (read 60000 bank jobs filled in 2012)

IBPS Common Interviews from January 14 | 61000 Set to Appear

The weeks ahead are expected to be filled with activity as IBPS PO Interview process 2012 has been announced.Qualifiers of written examination held in June are eligible to take part in the proposed common interviews.This is seen by many as the only solution to prevent multiple selections of candidates which marred previous bank recruitments.

 

To apply for probationary officer & clerk vacancies across 20 PSBs, one has to pass in Institute of Banking Personnel Selection`s CWE and appear for interviews of each bank till last year.

Why this Survey Results are Important?

Bank recruitments have undergone many changes in the past one year including that of moving from individual exam pattern to common written tests. Yes, the common interviews (CI) to be coordinated by IBPS shall start from this year onwards making PO 2012 passouts the first batch to appear in this new exercise.

In relation to this, the institute will ask candidates to provide their order of preference (they like to join) among 20 public banks.Based on the final merit list, vacancies and preference given, they shall be allotted to banks.

An important point to note here is – a person will not get two or more calls.Incase you choose to reject the offer of appointment or don't report for duty on the specified dates, you won't receive offers from remaining banks.

Although this may sound a little harsh it can be expected to put an end to multiple selections which marred previous recruitments.

 

60% in Degree From Next Year

The news of Indian govt fixing 60% in graduation for PO posts could have been haunting many with low scorers fearing disqualification.

We have been told that it will be implemented only from the next CWE.So there is every reason for those below 60% to smile.
