Who are Eligible

As said earlier, the canara bank recruitment is not for all but only to those who qualified already in SO exam.The eligibility conditions for AEO (scale I) position are given below

• 21 - 30 yrs of age as on Aug 1, 2011 (+3 yrs for obc & +5 for sc/st)
• Must have 1st class degree in Agri / Horticulture/ Sericulture/ Forestry/ Animal Husbandry/ Vet.Science or other related subjects.
• Should have cleared IBPS specialist officer exam 2011 & posses valid score card (no minimum TWS score)

Knowledge of state`s local language is preferred but not compulsory.

 

Selection:

The appointments for agri. officer post includes group discussion & interview.Depending on the no. of applications, candidates shall shortlist those with top marks in common test

While GD & personal interview are to be conducted for 100 marks, 50% weightage would be given to IBPS CWE score during final list preparation.

The probationary period for scale I officers is 2 years & they should execute Rs.1 lakh service bond.

Canara Bank has published the notification announcing recruitment of clerks.Started in 1906, the bank was nationalised in the year 1969.Since then, the bank is growing every year generating profits.Canara bank with its head office in Bangalore has over 3500 branches spread throughout India.

Who are eligible:

* Should be within 21 - 30 yrs of age (OBC – 3 yrs & SC/ST –5 yrs)

* 60% in graduation (55% for SC/ST/PWD) [banks prefer UG degree]

Selection procedure

is the same as other banks wherein those satisfying the eligible conditions are ranked as per CWE scores and shortlisted for Group discussion & interview.
