Clerk jobs in govt banks are normally filled with candidates who qualify in IBPS clerical exam which is a common test held throughout India.
Bank of Maharashtra has joined hands with private training institutes to offer training & absorb successful passouts as clerks in their own bank.This is much similar to the PO recruitment held by private banks.

Based on your performance in written test, a merit list is prepared & they are called for document verification stage.
Since there are no interviews for clerical jobs in banks, selected candidates are directly shortlisted for the training programme.
All chosen candidates will be admitted to a 6 month training course at NIIT University, Rajasthan OR Manipal Global Insitute of Banking, Rajasthan.
Only those who complete the course successfully shall be appointed as clerk in Bank of Maharashtra as PO (scale I) with an approximate salary of Rs.15 – 17,000 /month.
Course Fee: The cost of this course is Rs.1.89 – 1.94 lakhs which needs to be paid by the candidate personally OR they may avail an education loan from the bank itself.
Incase you take a loan, the EMI repayment starts after joining & deducted from your monthyl salary for 60 months (5 years).
Service Bond: At the time of joining, appointees must execute a service bond agreeing to serve the bank for 1 year, failing which Rs.1,50,000 must be paid to the bank before quitting.
