Karur Vysya Bank Clerk Recruitment 2016 | No IBPS Exam Scores Needed

It is a fact that many young indians are searching for jobs in govt banks but a good number of private bank recruitments are also happening.Karur Vysya Bank (KVB), a leading private sector bank has announced its recruitment of clerks.Started in 1916, KVB is one of the leading private banks in India with head office in Tamilnadu.The bank has over 360 branches across India & is planning to increase it for 450.

IBPS regularly conducts the selection for vacancies that exist in public sector banks but it does not cover private bank jobs.

Karur Vysya Bank is not part of the the IBPS clerk recruitment process & hence they have issued a notification to fill clerical cadre positions.

The salary for clerk is Rs.3.50 lakhs/ annum which comes around Rs.29,000 /month (including allowances).

Who are Eligible

Since IBPS exam scores are not required to apply for KVB clerk recruitment 2016, here are their eligibility conditions,

• Age to be minimum: 19yrs & maximum: 26 yrs (for UG) & 28 yrs (for PG), as on Jan 1, 2017
• Completed bachelor`s degree (any discipline) with aggregate 60% marks as on 1.1.2017
• Final years/ students with final exam in May/ June 2017 are also eligible to apply

Those with degrees through part-time/ correspondence/ distance education are not eligible.

Procedure of Selection

All applicants have to go through the following processes – Online test (objective) & Personal Interview.

Each correct answer will fetch you 1 mark & every wrong answer will get you 0.25 negative marks

Do remember that cutoffs are to be applied on individual sections & total scores. So only those candidates who qualify in the test by securing the two cutoffs are called for Interview.

The test would be conducted only at limited test centres in the following cities: Andhra Pradesh, Chandigarh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, New Delhi, Tamilnadu & West Bengal.

The application/exam fee of Rs.500 must be paid through online only.The fee amount is same for all categories (OBC,SC,ST etc.,)
