NABARD was started to promote sustainable agriculture & rural prosperity through effective credit support & other innovative initiatives by providing financial assistance to public sector banks to promote agriculture.

As part of NABARD recruitment 2017, there are two posts to be filled.Hence there are seperate eligibility conditions for each.
For Assistant Manager (Grade A): Candidate can apply for any one option from the given disciplines.
– Age to be between 21 – 30 years (+3yrs for OBC, +5 yrs for OBC, +10 for PWD) as on June 1, 2017
– Should have completed UG or PG degree in Engineering, Arts, Management, Commerce, Science, IT, Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Dairy Technology, Horticulture with an aggregate of 50% marks OR 2 years full time PG diploma in Management / MBA Degree OR Chartered / Cost Accountants / Company Secretary (ACS) OR Doctorate Degree holder.
In simple words, any candidate who has completed a degree with 50% marks is eligible to register.
For Manager (Grade B):
– 21 to- 35 years of age (+3yrs for OBC, +5yrs for OBC, +10yrs for PWD) as on June 1, 2017
– UG or PG degree with at least 60% aggregate marks in general stream or in agriculture or agriculture science, horticulture, animal Husbandry, forestry, dairy technology, fisheries and other related disciplines.
Candidates who wish to apply for Grade A & B posts must pay fee & submit application for each post separately.
A new selection procedure has been introduced for the NABARD recruitment 2017 exercise which would be similar to all other banking exams.

Each phase has been divided into few papers & their topics are mentioned in the notification.
The prelims are only of qualifying nature & the marks secured in it wont be considered for final selection.But candidates should pass & rank sufficiently high to get shortlisted for mains.
While the application fees for SC/ST/PWD candidates is Rs.150, applicants from other categories should pay Rs.800 for Grade A & Rs.900 for Grade B positions.
