Last year, the top 4 public sector insurance companies came together to conduct a common recruitment process for assistants.It was similar to that of the IBPS bank exams for PO, clerks & officers.
But now, things have gone back to previous state with each of these institutions releasing hiring notifications separately.
Online registrations from January 12 – 31, 2015
Written exam to be conducted in April 2015
Assistant (class III cadre) – 1000 vacancies [monthly emoluments – approx. Rs.15000/- per month]
Since the assistants recruitment is done state wise, you are required to apply for any one state & choose the exam centre in that particular state only.It is where you will be posted initially, if appointed.
It is necessary for applicants to posses the below qualification inorder to become eligible for the assistant jobs as new India assurance company
Ability to read / write & Speak regional language of the state that you are applying for is necessary.
All candidates have to appear for an online test scheduled in the month of April 2015.The computer based exam shall be in the following format:

Final selection will be based on your total score in written test & interview.Every wrong answer in the objective test shall carry 0.25 negative marks.

Selected candidates will have to participate in computer proficiency test.
The entire registration process has gone online including payment of fees.The application fee of Rs.50 (SC/ST/PWD) or Rs.500 (GEN/OBC) must be paid through the registration website on or before January 31.
Since the application form is integrated with online payment gateway, you can pay the fees immediately using Debit/ATM cards or Credit cards or Internet banking.
After payment, remember to take a print of the e-receipt & completed application form for reference.
Note: It is required to upload you recent passport photo & signature along with the application form.So make sure to have them nearby before starting the registration steps.
