Dena Bank has announced its 500 Probationary Officers recruitment for IBPS PO common exam qualified people.The bank founded in 1938 & nationalised in the year 1969 is headquartered in Mumbai with branches spread across various parts of the country.
The news of Dena bank`s recruitment was in the offing for quite some time with discussions about applying criteria & scores.With very few banks left to fill their vacancies, the month ahead can be expected to make things clearer.

Eligibility
All the below conditions & qualifications should be as on 1.07.2011
- Age to be min.21 yrs & not above 30 yrs (+5 for SC/ST, +3 yrs for OBC)
- Should be a graduate
- Knowledge in computer operations is required.
- certificate in computer awareness course (60 hrs) from a recognized institute should be submitted if candidate has not studied computers as subject in degree level.
- Total score in IBPS exam – 130 (Gen) & 125 (others).Section wise cutoff must be atleast 24 (Gen) or 21 (others)
Selection:
Depending on the number of applicants, Group discussion and/or Interview may be conducted to eligible applicants.In such cases, GD will be only for qualifying purposes.
As per the ratio 1:4 (Gen) or 1:5 (others), the bank will shortlist candidates for Interview from the received applications in order of merit.
The exact procedure shall be decided later & notified on website, says the bank.
Probation
Those offered appointment as PO will be on probation for 2 years.The candidates should execute a bond to be with the bank for atleast 3 years (including probationary period) or pay Rs.1.5 lakh if deciding to quit before specified time.
Application:
Fee of Rs.200 (Gen/OBC) or Rs.50 (others) for registrations must be either paid via cash in any branch of Dena bank OR at any bank using NEFT challan before 12.04.2012.The counterfoils of payment vouchers are to be produced during the interviews.
