Bank of Maharashtra PO Recruitment – Appointment List!

bank results, bank of maharashtra po results, bank po appointmentsMore aspirants are set to turn bankers as Bank of Maharashtra out up its final results of PO recruitment. Since most interviews were attended by the same candidates, it could pose a problem for public banks in filling up their vacancies considering some have joined other banks.

Bank of Maharashtra in the month of February advertised recruitment of 452 probationary officers. The applications received were sorted as per their TWS scores & 1900 candidates were shortlisted for personal interview sessions which were held during the 1st week of June 2012.

The interview was conducted for 50 marks, of which 50% was set as minimum qualifying.

242 for 457 Posts

Yes, for a total of  457 PO vacancies BOM has selected only 242 candidates. Their names, roll numbers, joining zone etc., can be seen by downloading the official list from website here.

Offer letters have already been sent via post, says the official statement from bank of Maharashtra.

Confirm within 2 weeks

The bank has fixed August 1 as reporting date but these chosen people should confirm their joining on or before July 23 to BOM`s HR dept, Pune.

Although there are no contact details provided we believe the offer letters to have more information on how to convey their willingness.

Previously UCO bank had also adopted a similar procedure asking joiners to send an email

No takers for 215 posts?

With the bank finally settling only for 242 candidates – what will happen to the remaining 215 positions is a question in the minds of many applicants, leave alone IBPS qualifiers.

There only two possibilities in front of bank of maharashtra if they decide to fill these vacant seats.

  • To pick new set of people from waiting list (if they have)
  • or To conduct fresh interviews

With united bank of India releasing a 2nd list for appointment & Indian bank conducting 2nd phase of Interviews, what Bank of Maharashtra plans to do will be known in the coming days.
