Punjab & Sind bank`s recruitment for clerical vacancies has reached its final stages with the bank releasing the notice calling for Interviews.Although many public sector banks had putup ads for clerk posts, they take atleast 1 month for interviewing the selected.
To fill 800 clerk positions, Punjab & Sind bank invited online applications from IBPS common exam qualified scorecard holders in the month of April 2012.
The eligibility conditions were fixed were similar to most other recruitments, but PSB did not specify any minimum TWS score.This enabled everyone with pass score to send their applications.
Cutoffs fixed
As part of selection procedure, the bank has shortlisted candidates based on their TWS scores.
If you are looking to check your registration no. or similar details by downloading the selection list, it is not possible.The reason is, Punjab sind bank has not uploaded any lists or document of names or roll numbers qualified for Interviews.
But inorder to shortlist applicants eligible for interviews, they have fixed cutoffs (category wise & statewise) which has been published (see image below)
So as per this, only those who have secured above these scores have been sent interview call letters through email.You download this list along with instructions from their webpage here
Interviews are scheduled to be held from July 23 to 31 as per the bank`s official notice.
Final selection shall be done by preparing a merit list by taking into account the CWE & Interview marks & ranking them in descending order
About the procedure
- Interview is conducted for a total of 100 marks & its necessary for registrants to secure atleast 40% (35% for sc/st/obc)
- Since applicants were required to posses proficiency in local language, it is possible for you to encounter some questions in that front as many banks had done it before.
