Saurashtra Gramin Bank has come out announcing its plans for recruitment of Officers & Office assistants.Sponsored by State Bank of India, SGB is located in the state of Gujarat with branches spread across 7 districts.The bank operating since 1978 is headquartered in rajkot.
With 82 Regional Rural Banks (RRB) in India, the coming months will see more recruitments from these localized banks.So those looking to join a bank but want to be within state limits can make use of this opportunity.
Position – Vacancy:
Officer (scale I) – 50 posts – Rs.26,535 /month
Office Assistant – 63 posts – Rs.14,640 /month
Online registrations starts on November 27 & closes on December 12, 2012

Who can apply?
Saurashtra gramin bank has listed certain conditions for applicants to fulfill,
- Age of the individual to be within 18 – 28yrs,
- Completed degree from a recognized university, as on 1.06.2012
- Must be able to read/write/speak in Gujarat`s official language & passed gujarati paper in std.X exams.
All registrants should have qualified in the IBPS RRB CWE (Sep 2012) with following scores,
As usual, the bank would shortlist candidates for interviews based on their total weighted scores awarded by IBPS.A ratio of 1:3 would be adopted for this.
While final selection depends on your performance in cwe & interview, the weightage given for each shall be 70:30.
The application fee of Rs.100 or Rs.20(SC/STPWD) should be paid in cash at branches of Saurashtra Gramin Bank only using the challan available at sgbrrb.org.Payments are to be made before December 12
