About the Cutoffs: The clerical prelims exam paper consists of 100 questions in 3 sections – English, Numerical ability & Reasoning.Each correct answer carries 1 mark (0.25 negative mark).

IBPS Clerk Cutoff Calculation

IBPS has applied cutoffs at two levels
- on each section
- on Total weighted score (TWS)
So you need to qualify in each of the three tests inaddition to the total score by securing cut-off marks.
Therefore in IBPS clerk prelims 2016 exam too, you need to secure minimum qualifying marks at both these levels to proceed for mains.
