The online registrations have closed for the post of Assistant Manager (Grade ‘A’ – General stream) as part of the SIDBI Recruitment 2016.Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) had announced 100 vacancies intially but increased it to 150 recently.To all those who have applied, knowing about the exam pattern & previous year SIDBI cutoffs are essential.
The SIDBI Online Exam date is January 24, 2016 which would be conducted at various centres across India.With just few days left for the test, we are sure many might have started preparing already.
SIDBI Exam Pattern
The online examination of SIDBI is similar to IBPS PO exams with same sections.So all those who have appeared for other bank recruitments will find this quite easy.
Let’s have a look at the Assistant Manager exam structure & section wise marks.
Ready for 2 Hr 45 Mins Test?
You will have to attend 202 questions in 2 hours & 45 mins.Candidates have to complete both the followng tests on computer itself.
- Objective Test for 200 marks (200 questions)
- Descriptive Test for 50 marks (2 questions)
There is negative marks of 0.25 for each wrong answer.So be careful when making wild guesses.
Descriptive English: After a very long time, individuals will be taking up descriptive test, the answers for which should also be typed in the system.You wont have a paper to write.
There shall be only 2 questions in this section.They are:
- 1 Essay Writing for 35 marks
- 1 Business Letter Writing for 15 marks
Since the final scores are for 250 marks, the scores in descriptive test would also be taken up for while shortlisting candidates for interview.
SIDBI Previous Cutoffs
To qualify in this SIDBI Asst Manager recruitment 2016, you need to posses certain cutoffs that are applied on two stages:
- On individual test section
- On your total score
Even if you obtain the necessary qualifying marks in all sections but fail to reach the cutoff on total score, you will still be disqualified.
Just like IBPS releasing cut-off scores for its exams, SIDBI also has published the cutoffs for their previous year (2014) Assistant Manager recruitment.See below for those numbers:
