For the next few months, make sure to remember the dates as many bank exams are scheduled to happen.Bank of Maharashtra today announced the exam dates for PO, clerks & Officer jobs as their recruitment doesnt require IBPS exam scores.
IBPS normally conducts a common written examination to fill officer & clerical cadre positions on behalf of all govt banks in india.Approximately 8000 PO & 19,000 clerk vacancies are to be filled in the coming year.
Bank of Maharashtra did not participate in the IBPS selection process but instead joined hands with private insitutes/ universities to offer a unique training-cum-recruitment programme.
Exam Dates Out for BOM Recruitment
The written tests for all the advertised positions are set to happen during the month of October 2016 itself.There are two shifts – Morning & Afternoon.
Here are the details:
Probationary Officer (500 Posts) – October 28 (Friday) – 9 AM & 1 PM
Clerk (200 posts) – October 26 – 9 AM & 1 PM
Clerk (Legal & Agriculture, 300 posts) – October 21 – 9 AM
Manager (scale II – 200 posts) – October 21 – 9 AM
Senior Manager (scale III – 100 posts) – October 21 – 1 PM
Candidates have to note that all exams are on weekdays & not on weekends.Hence suitable arrangments are to be made.

Exam Pattern & Study Materials
Although bank of maharashtra has announced recruitment for multiple posts, the pattern of online written test is similar for all.
PO & Clerks:
Individuals need to attend only one exam, which consists of 200 objective type questions, each carrying one mark.
Books to refer:
There is no specific book to prepare for bank of maharashtra`s PO & clerk exam.Since the paper pattern is exactly same like IBPS exam, you can make use of any bank exam books.
