After many months of expectation, IBPS Clerk Mains 2017 Result is finally out along with the allotment & cutoff details.Over 22,000 clerk jobs have been created for qualifiers of IBPS Clerk VI recruitment for the year 2017-18.The indian banking sector has grown to become to one of the largest employment generator with thousands of new jobs being created every year.The first choice among freshers is to become a clerk or an officer in banks.
To realise those dreams, the IBPS Clerk CWE VI (2015) was announced to fill clerical cadre vacancies for the year 2016-17 in 23 govt. banks across India.
The registrations started during the the month of August 2015 which was followed by written tests (prelims/ mains) in January 2016.

The procedure of allotment for clerks is based only on the written test scores as it was decided that there will be no interviews for clerk jobs hereafter.

What are the IBPS Clerk Cutoffs?
Unlike PO, clerical positions are filled state-wise & hence each state has a different cutoff fixed as per the total number of vacancies.The bankwise & statewise list of vacancies is given in the notification.
Here is the minimum cutoff score for all states in India (numbers in bracket is the date of birth of candidate with that score)
What is the purpose of date of birth & why is it given in brackets?
When two candidates have obtained the same score, their ages are calculated & senior person is preferred first & then the junior one.
That is why we see date of births mentioned next to the scores to show the merit order.

The total number of clerk jobs for the year 2016-17 is 22711 which is pretty much lower than expected.
When is the joining date?
You will receive a separate email from the allotted bank giving more information on joining formalities, document verification etc.,
