Institute of Banking Selection Personnel is authorized to conduct recruitments on behalf of 20 nationalized banks in India.The ones qualified in that test were put through personal interviews & the final results were out in February 2013.

As part of the common recruitment procedure – 22,415 PO vacancies were advertised across all PSB`s for 2013-14.
Based on candidate preference, final score & actual no.of jobs allotments were finalized & intimations were sent on Monday through email & sms.

Although exact reasons for deferment is not known candidates came up with theories they believe could be the cause for this mixup.They are
- Email delivery problems (while some received 2 or more mails, few complain of not receiving any at all)
- Category/ Quota wise selection issues
- Allotments might have gone awry
