Based on candidate preference, final score & actual no.of jobs allotments were finalized & intimations were sent on Monday through email & sms.

 

This morning, the institute on its website posted an update stating the provisional allotments for PO postings had been suspended temporarily.

While recipients of the earlier communication from IBPS were sharing their happiness on social networks, the unexpected development came as a rude shock for them.

 

Official Response on Suspension:

Although exact reasons for deferment is not known candidates came up with theories they believe could be the cause for this mixup.They are

  • Email delivery problems (while some received 2 or more mails, few complain of not receiving any at all)
  • Category/ Quota wise selection issues
  • Allotments might have gone awry

We have provided the above to show what's being discussed by aspirants at various online forums.None of these so called ‘reasons’ were confirmed by IBPS.

 

BankExamsIndia.com contacted IBPS to know more details but a senior official declined to divulge any specifics.We were only told that revised allotments wont have any major changes & shall be made available within the next 2 days.

Final selection will be based on the CWE & interview score.Failing to score min. marks in interviews would lead to rejection.
