Union Bank of India to Start Clerk Recruitment – 1600 Posts

Union Bank of India has come out with its recruitment of clerks for IBPS common written exam qualifiers.Being one of the leading public sector banks in India it has a strong network with 2800+ branches & 29,000 employees.Established in the year 1919, Union bank`s head office is situated in Mumbai.

 

Union bank of India was among the first few banks to recruit for probationary officer posts with CWE scores which was completed within a short time.Lets hope they wrap this hiring also fast.

Qualifications: 

The eligibility conditions to apply for clerical jobs in Union bank are ,

• Min.age of 20 & max. 28 years, as on 1.08.2011
• Should have completed degree (any discipline) from a recog. university
• Can apply to vacancies in a state that has your test centre
• Compulsory to read/ write/ speak the state`s official language
• Preference shall be given to those with computer knowledge.

In addition to the above criteria, registrants must have secured the minimum cutoff (shown in image) 

Selection:

Union bank of India will shortlist candidates for Interviews according to their IBPS TWS scores in the ratio of 1:3 & 1:5 as per merit.

 

50 marks is allotted for the interview process & it is necessary to secure atleast 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC) for consideration into final list., which shall be prepared state/ category wise.

 

Although appointees will be under probation period for 6 months, there is no service bond for clerical cadre employees.

 

Registrations:

Those fulfilling the set requirements can visit any branch of Union bank of India between June 19 – July 3 & pay Rs.20 (sc/st) or Rs.100 (gen/obc) in cash using the fee challan that's given at the end of recruitment notice.

While keeping the original counterfoil of challan safe, proceed to the online application link at unionbankofindia.co.in, fill required details & press submit.

After completing the registration successfully, do not forget to take a print of the system generated application.Make sure to provide correct details as editing/modifying is not possible after submission.

Union Bank of India 2473 PO Recruitment Final Results: See Marks Too!

The good news doesn't seem to stop.!Union Bank of India has released the list of candidates selected for the post of Probationary Officers.The interviews were conducted last week & based on it, selection have been done.The number of vacancies advertised was 2473

 

When was the last time you heard of a bank completing its recruitment within 2 months? We couldn't think of many.

 

UBI Selection Process

Following the completion of IBPS common written exam & issuing of scorecards, Union Bank of India was the first bank to come out with its 2473 PO recruitment project in January 2012.

 

Later in the same month, UBI specified the cutoffs & shortlisted around 10,000 candidates for Interview process that were conducted from February 6 – 25. Just 1 week after closing the interviews, the bank has finalized the people to be appointed.

 

What is my score?

This could be one of the biggest question for 8000+ people who had attended the UBI`s interview but failed to make it through.To facilitate them, the bank has informed of uploading the marks scored by each candidate along with category wise cutoffs onto their website.

 

Update on Mar 19, 2012: As promised earlier,Union bank of India has publicized the performance of the ones who appeared for Interviews.Check it out at their webpage

 

As per it, those above the following total marks have been selected for PO position:

• General: 200
• OBC: 186
• SC: 179
• ST: 164

Total marks is calculated through Written test (250) + Interview (50) = 300 marks

Appointment Letters

Offer letters with details about date of joining, reporting centre & its address would be sent soon.

As per our sources, candidates may start receiving their letters within 10 days & the joining date could be sometime in the last week of March or 2nd week of April 2012 (yet to be confirmed)

Union Bank of India Selects 10000 for PO Interview

Union Bank of India has come out with the list of candidates eligible for interview process.This is the first bank to announce the results after the common written exam for bank jobs (PO & clerks) were introduced by IBPS in 2011.As part of this,over 10,000 have qualified for the next stage of selection.

 

Before proceeding to the results feature, here is a quick look at what has happened so far,

 

The online registrations for Union bank of India recruitment of 2473 PO were accepted upto 14th of January 2012 & within 2 weeks, the bank has completed choosing !!

About the selection

• Only those with 55% marks in graduation were asked to apply
• Based on the total weighted score given in the scorecard, merit list is prepared.
• Candidates have been shortlisted as per the ratio of 1:3 (for Gen) & 1:5 (for reserved cat.) 
• Interviews shall be conducted for 50 marks wherein the minimum cutoff is 25 (22.5 for reserved)

The qualifying score for Interview shortlisting was also revealed by the bank.

Union bank of India few days back, had uploaded the PDF file containing names of those selected along with date, time & interview venue.It also had the roll numbers, date of birth & category of applicants.

Position - Vacancies – Payscale :

Customer Relationship Executive (CRE)  – 370 posts – Rs.20000 /month

The contract is for 2 yrs, which may be extended based on performance.

* Age to be minimum 21yrs to max. of 30 yrs

* Must have completed UG degree in Science/ Arts or Commerce with 60% (final year) AND MBA or PG diploma in management

Union Bank of India Starts Recruitment of 450 Officers

Eligibility conditions for credit officer jobs in Union bank of India,

* Age of 21 – 40 yrs, as on 12.09.2011

Also remember that only those scoring above the cut-off (will be fixed by the bank, depending on performance) would be called for Interview/ Group discussion in the ratio of 1:3 for final selection.Interview process requires you to garner atleast 50% marks.
