IOB Shortlists 6500+ for PO Interviews – Cutoffs also Released

To appoint 1500 Probationary Officers, Indian overseas bank invited applications from IBPS common exam scorecard holders in April 2012.The minimum eligibility conditions to apply, specified in its advertisement were,

  1. 60% in graduation (55% for SC/ST)
  2. Total weighted score of 120 (Gen) & 105 (others)

With cutoff score for Gen still hovering around 164 – qualified candidates are caught in a dilemma whether to wait for it to get lower or prepare for the next IBPS CWE in June.

Many have confirmed receipt of the intimation mail being sent by IOB to those shortlisted for PO recruitment.If you find your roll.no listed in the document but have not received any communication from the bank, check for mails in spam or junk folders.

Not to worry incase you don’t find it.

The link to download call letters will be activated in IOB`s website from May 19th & those who have made through can download to take a print of it.

The interview process is scheduled to be conducted from May 28 onwards at select centres across India.

Personal Interview (PI) shall carry 50 marks & securing 22.50 (gen)/ 20 (others) marks is necessary to qualify for the final merit list, which will be prepared based on your scores in common test & PI.
