Karnataka Bank starts Clerks Recruitment 2022: Full details here

Karnataka Bank Ltd, has released the official notification for clerks recruitment in 2022.Formed in 1924, Karnataka bank is one among the leading private sector banks in India. With head office at Mangalore, the bank has 8200+ employees in 878 branches present across 22 states & 2 union territories.

Though Karnataka Bank belongs to the private sector, they have announced an open recruitment exercise to fill clerical positions. This is a huge advantage for all those who couldn’t appear for IBPS bank exams but are looking to apply for bank jobs in India.

Note: Candidates selected as clerks should execute a service bond to work with the bank for a minimum
period of 3 years

Clerk – with an approx salary of approx. 43,000 /month

Who can apply?

To become eligible for Karnataka bank clerical recruitment 2022, one has to posses the following eligibility conditions,

  • Should not be above 26 yrs of age as on 1.05.2022 (31 years for SC/ST candidates)
  • Completed graduation with 60% from a recog. university as on May 1, 2022
  • Must be able to speak any one of the regional language along with Hindi & English languages
  • Has to be a computer literate

Those who are awaiting results of their degree exams or currently undergoing degree are NOT eligible for these jobs.

Selection Process:

Karnataka bank has not divulged the exact no. of vacancies in each state but eligible candidates have to appear for an online test, scheduled in the month of June 2022 to be held at centres in Bengaluru, Dharwad, Hubballi, Mangaluru, Mumbai, Mysuru, New Delhi and Shivamogga.

With a total of 200 marks, every question fetches you 1 mark and each wrong answer will be give 0.25 negative marks. Regarding the Cutoffs, they would be applied on each test section and on the total score. So candidates have to qualify in each test by scoring the necessary cutoff marks fixed by the bank, inorder to qualify for the next stage of selection.

Pay Fees & Apply:

Fee of Rs.700 or Rs.600 (SC/ST) must be paid as registration fee from 10-05-2022 to 21-05-2022 while submitting your online application on www.karnatakabank.com.Upon successful completion of payment and application, remember to take a printout of the e-Receipt and online Application Form for future reference.
