[1074 Posts] Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation (DFCC) Recruitment 2021 | Degree Holders Eligible

Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCC) has released its latest recruitment 2021 notification for 1074 posts of Junior Manager, Executive and Junior Executive posts. DFCC is a subsidiary of Indian Railways and was established in October 2006, to undertake planning & development, mobilization of financial resources and construction, maintenance and operation of the dedicated rail freight corridors.

Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India (DFCCIL) recruitment is sure to generate massive response among govt job aspirants, considering it being a public sector enterprise. With the increasing number of job losses due to covid19 pandemic, the interest towards government jobs in India has also expect increased in the recent months.

Who are eligible?

Candidates willing to apply for DFCCIL recruitment 2021 must fulfill the following conditions, according to their chosen post. The post-wise qualification are explained below:

Age limit:

1. Jr. Manager: 18-27 years
2. Executive: 
18-30 years
3. Junior Executive: 
18-30 years

The upper age-limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC. Refer the notice for details on other categories.

  • Junior Manager (Civil): Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with not less than 60% marks in aggregate.
  • Junior Manager (Operations & BD): Two (02) years MBA/PGDBA/PGDBM/PGDM in Marketing/Business Operation/Customer Relation/Finance with not less than 60% marks in aggregate.
  • Junior Manager (Mechanical): Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering /Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics Engineering / Industrial Engineering /Production Engineering /Automobile Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering/ Electronics and Communications Engineering/ Electronics Engineering with not less than 60% marks in aggregate.
  • Executive (Civil): Diploma (3 years) in Civil Engg/ Civil Engg. (Transportation)/ Civil Engg. (Construction Technology)/ Civil Engg. (Public Health)/ Civil Engg. (Water Resource) with not less than 60% marks in aggregate.
  • Executive (Electrical): Diploma (3 years) in Electrical / Electronics /Power Supply/ Instrumentation and Control/ Industrial Electronics/Electronic Instrumentation/Applied Electronics/ Digital Electronics/Power Electronics from a recognized institute with not less than 60% marks in aggregate.
  • Executive (Signal & Telecommunication): Diploma (3 years) in Electrical/ Electronics/ Microprocessor/TV Engineering/Fiber Optic Communication/ Telecommunication/ Communication/Sound & TV Engineering/ Industrial Control/ Electronic Instrumentation/ Industrial Electronics/ Applied Electronics/ Digital Electronics/ Power Electronics/ Information Science & Technology/ ComputerApplication/Computer Engineering/Computer Science/ Computer Technology with not less than 60% marks in aggregate.
  • Executive (Operations & BD): Graduation with not less than 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Executive (Mechanical): Diploma (3 years) in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Manufacturing/ Mechatronics/Production Engg./ Automobile/ Instrumentation and Control Engineering with not less than 60% marks in aggregate.
  • Junior Executive (Electrical): Matriculation with minimum 60% marks in aggregate plus minimum 02 (two) year duration Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI approved by SCVT/NCVT in the trade of Electrical/Electrician/ Wireman/ Electronics with not less than 60% marks in aggregate.
  • Junior Executive (Signal & Telecommunication): Matriculation with not less than 60% marks in aggregate plus minimum 02 (two) year duration Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI approved by SCVT/ NCVT in the trade of Electronics/ Communication/ Information Technology/ TV & Radio/ Electronic Instrumentation/ Industrial Electronics/ Applied Electronics/ Digital Electronics/ Power Electronics/ Computer/ Computer Networking/ Data Networking with not less than 60% marks in aggregate.
  • Junior Executive (Operations & BD): Matriculation with not less than 60% marks in aggregate plus minimum 02 (two) year duration Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI approved by SCVT/ NCVT in any trade from a recognized institute with not less than 60% marks in aggregate. OR Graduate in any discipline.
  • Junior Executive (Mechanical): Matriculation with not less than 60% marks in aggregate plus minimum 02 (two) year duration Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI approved by SCVT/ NCVT in the trade of Fitter/Electrician/Motor Mechanic/Electronics & Instrumentation with not less than 60% marks in aggregate.

NOTE: Applicants to posses the above qualifications as on 23.05.2021 only. Those who had appeared for their final exam or awaiting results as on May 23, 2021 are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.

Selection process:

The selection procedure is different for each post, with Computer based test (CBT), Computer based Aptitude Test (CBAT), Document Verification, Interview, Medical Test. It is not necessary for candidates to go through all the stages. Refer the below table for the procedure followed for each position:

Computer Based Test: The Computer based test shall have 120 objective type questions, that must be completed within a duration of 2 hours. For each wrong answer, (0.25) mark will be reduced as negative mark. The qualifying marks in written test/CBT is prescribed as 40% for general category, 30% for SC/OBC and 25% for ST.
