Many dont know about the ICICI Bank PO recruitment since it does not participate in the IBPS bank exams.
But over 35 batches have been concluded so far & are back again with new ones this year. The last date to register for batch nos. 36 & 37 is June 2016.
ICICI Bank PO recruitment, in partnership with Manipal academy follows a three tier selection procedure.
The 1st stage is an online aptitude test, for which registered candidates will be informed about their test centre & time through a separate email.
The test shall contain around 80 questions that have to be answered in 1 hour (see ICICI bank PO exam pattern).
ICICI PO exam results could be declared in a month`s time & qualified candidates shall receive an email about the next process – Group discussion & Personal Interview.
Note:Some candidates complain of not knowing the test results even after 2 months. So we are not sure on what basis they are shortlisting individuals.
Group Discussion: Thanks to Ms.Archana for sharing her ICICI Bank PO GD and Interview experience.
Here is the procedure of group discussion:
How to qualify in Group Discussion?
The officials mainly check for good communication skills. So present your thoughts in a clear manner.Since the topics are already provided, prepare some good points in advance.
Many a times, candidates could not speak due to the interruptions of other members. Such persons need not worry as they will also be given an chance to speak at the last.In my GD too, they permitted such people to express their views.
When did you get GD results?
GD results were announced within 10-15 minutes after the discussions were over.
Was Interview conducted on the same day?
Yes.After the GD results are announced, selected candidates have to appear for personal interview immediately.
And what type of questions were asked in the Interview?
Only simple questions were asked, such as:
They did not ask any banking related questions. Most of it were related to personal or educational qualifications.
Ms.Archana was clear about here choice to apply for ICICI Bank PO recruitment. We asked what advice she would give to candidates who are looking to appear for the selection process.
“Aptitude test is easy & we can easily qualify in it.But for GD and Interview, one needs to prepare well.
They would select only few candidates finally. In my group discussion, 9 persons out of 10 got shortlisted but after interview – only 2 or 3 were only selected.
I know there are many negative reviews about this PO programme on websites. But according to me, it is also a bank & we get experience working for the 2nd largest private bank in India.
Since bank PO job carries lot of responsibilities, candidates should be mentally prepared.Work pressure is everywhere.
“You can do it. What you need is the right approach coupled with good strategies to reach your destiny.” she said.
