Punjab National Bank (PNB) has released a notification inviting applications for the recruitment of 535 specialist officers for the year 2020.PNB is the second largest public sector banks in India with a presence of over 10,930 branches across the nation.
Oriental Bank of Commerce and United Bank of India were recently merged with Punjab National Bank.The bank recruits for PO & clerk positions through the IBPS PO & clerk selection process.
While IBPS specialist officer exams are held for recruiting scale I officers, banks conduct individual selection process scale II & above cadre posts, that require experienced professionals.

Who are Eligible to Apply?
To apply for PNB specialist officers recruitment 2020, you need to satisfy the following conditions.
IBPS exam scores are not required. Hence all those who have not appeared or couldn’t clear the test can also apply.

Note:
- Candidates can apply for any one post only.
- Must have completed MBA or PGDM or equivalent post graduation degree/diploma through full time only (correspondence/part-time/distance mode degrees will not be considered)
- Those who are in final year/ semester of their MBA/ PGDBM degrees are also eligible to apply, but the final results should be declared on or before Sep 8, 2020.
Selection Process
Although the bank is hiring for senior scales, selection for all posts will be based on online test & interview.
A common online test for 200 marks in reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English language & professional knowledge for a duration of 120 minutes is scheduled to be conducted in the month of October/ November 2020.
There is negative mark of 0.25 for each wrong answer in all objective tests. Based on the exam marks, candidates will be shortlisted for interviews, following which the final merit list would be prepared.

The online registration link is available on pnbindia.in through which you can submit your applications after entering the correct details.
All applicants are required to pay Rs.850 [Rs.175 for SC/ST/PWD] through an online payment gateway integrated with the application form.You may use Debit/Credit cards or Netbanking facility to transfer the fee amount.
On successful completion of registration & payment, do not forget to take a print of the e-receipt & the system generated application form for future reference.
