Prathama Bank is out with its recruitment of Officers for qualifiers of IBPS RRB exam.Formed in 1975 it was the first regional rural bank of India sponsored by Syndicate bank.With a network of 240+ branches across 4 districts of Uttar Pradesh, the RRB oversees its operation from head office located in Moradabad.
With the introduction of a single exam for jobs in regional rural banks in India it has now become easy for aspirants to choose & apply.The only letdown could be the less number of openings in each but since there are over 80 RRBs in India, chances do exist.

Who are Eligible:
To apply for Prathama recruitment 2012, you should posses the following eligibility conditions,
- Aged between 18 – 28yrs, as on 01.06.2011
- Must have completed degree from a recognized university
- Proficiency in local language (hindi) is necessary which includes passing in Hindi subject at matric./std. X level.

Shortlisting & Selections:
Since written exams have already been conducted, candidates would be directly shortlisted based on their TWS scores for next stage of selection.
For final appointments, a merit list is prepared in descending order (high to low) for each category with total marks secured in CWE & personal interview.
Probation:Selected applicants in officer cadre will have to sign an indemnity bond of Rs.1.50 lakh agreeing to serve the bank 2 years.Similarly for assistants, the service bond is Rs.1.00 lakh for a period of 1 year.
How to apply:
The application fee of Rs.20(SC/ST) or Rs.100 (others) should be paid before Jan 7th.
While those residing within the operational area of the bank must remit fees by personally visiting the bank, applicants from other parts of India may deposit the amount to the mentioned account using NEFT facility.In any case preserve the fee receipts.
