The SSC CGL 2017 tier I exam results were declared today by the Staff Selection Commission on their official website, ssc.nic.in.They have also released the list of number of qualified candidates along with the official category-wise cutoffs.The selected candidates are shortlisted for the Tier II exam to be held in the month of December 2017. The final list of successful individuals will be based on Tier I, II and III stages.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) had conducted the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2017 exam in the month of August at various centres across India.
A total of 15.43 lakh candidates had appeared for the SSC CGL 2017 tier I examinations from August 5 to 23, says an official statement from SSC.
SSC CGL 2017 Tier I Results: Only 10% Pass
Based on the tier I online examination, the category-wise cutoffs and results of individuals chosen for Tier II exams have been declared.
According to which, here is the breakdown of qualified candidates for each post:
Tier II (paper I & II) and Tier III: 1,50,404
Tier II (paper-I, paper-II and paper-III) and Tier-III: 10, 311 (only for JSO post)
Tier-II (paper-I, paper-II and paper-IV) and Tier-III: 15,450 (only for post of AAO)
Of the 15.43 lakh candidates, only 1.5 lakh have managed to pass for tier II, which is approximately 10% of the total attendance.
It has to be noted that 3805 vacancies were notified by SSC, that are to be filled with the final qualifiers of SSC CGL 2017.

1) Candidates qualified for Tier II (paper I & II) and Tier III

3) For AAO: Candidates qualified for Tier II (paper-I, paper-II, paper-IV (General Studies, Finance & Accounts) and Tier-III

SSC CGL 2017 Tier II in December
The Combined Graduate Level (Tier – II & Tier- III) examination 2017 is tentatively scheduled to be held from 21.12.2017 to 24.12.2017.
Candidates are requested to download their admit cards from the websites of respective regional offices 10 days before the start of exams.
