The insurance organization currently offers insurance policies in the following areas – Motor, Health, Travel, House, Shop & Personal Accident.

Since IBPS exam scores are not required to apply for this united India insurance AO recruitment, candidates who did not clear or appear for IBPS bank exams are also eligible to apply.

Administrative Officer – 300 Vacancies of which:

• Generalist – 220
• Specialists – 80 (Finance – 43; Civil – 5; Legal – 15; Mechanical & Electrical – 15; Actuary- 2)

The UIIC AO salary will be approx Rs.48,000 per month (in metro cities) in the payscale of Rs.32975-62315.Employees are also eligible for allowances & benefits including medical aid, gratuity, leased accommodation etc.,

Conditions to Apply:

Here are the eligibility criteria for united india insurance recruitment 2016,

• Must be within 21 – 30 years of age as on  March 31, 2016 (+3 yrs for OBC, +5yrs for SC/ ST)
• Generalist: Should have completed degree from a recognized university
• Specialist: Relevant degrees in respective fields.

Finance: Must have completed B.com / M.com / MBA (finance) Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / Cost Accountant (ICWA)

Mechanical & Electrical Engineering: B.tech /BE (in Mechanical/ Electrical)

All applicants are required to have good working knowledge of computers.

Written Test Procedure

As part of the UIIC AO recruitment 2016, candidates have to appear for an online examination in the month of June.

Apart from the above objective tests, there will be a descriptive tests for 30 marks, which must also be taken online (on a computer).It is only for qualifying purposes only.

The descriptive test contains 2 questions:

• Essay writing – 20 marks
• Letter writing – 10 marks

Out of 30 marks, candidates have to secure these cutoffs:

• 15 marks (gen/obc)
• 13.5 (SC/ST)

Those who score the necessary cutoffs in each section of the objective test & on total scores would only be called for interviews.

UIIC AO Service Bond

All candidates selected for appointment should sign an undertaking agreeing to serve the company for 4 years (including 1 year probation).

In the event of resigning from service before the expiry of bond period, he/ she is liable to pay the salary received in addition to an amount of Rs.25,000 towards cost of training.

Registration Process:

Like in previous cases, fees of Rs.100 (SC/ST/PWD) or Rs.600 (Gen/OBC) must be paid only through online mode.
