Corporation Bank Cutoffs for Asst. Manager Recruitment Out

The IBPS common written examination was brought in to expedite the selection process in banks & it seems to have achieved the purpose.Corporation bank as part of their assistant manager recruitment has finalized the list of candidates to be called for Interview.For the benefit of applicants, cutoff scores has been made available for public view.

Corporation bank in January 2012 had asked those with scorecards issued by IBPS to apply for 355 Asst.manager vacancies.Within a month`s time, the bank has come up with their interview process.

Cutoff Scores:

As per official announcement, the category-wise cutoff score has been declared,

By this, only those persons who have secured the above specified total weighted score or more shall proceed to the next stage.

Interviews

Candidates who have secured the listed cutoffs shall receive call letters by email with details about the time & documents to carry for Interview, that are scheduled to happen from February 23 at various venues.

The total allotted for interview will be 100 & its is required to obtain 40 marks to qualify (35 for OBC/SC/ST/PWD) [read about bank interview questions]

In addition to this, arrangements to send a SMS message about dispatch of call letter have also been made.If you have given the mobile number in the application, you may receive it.

High scorers called

It has to be noted that during registration process, the minimum TWS for applicants were 151, 141, 126, 106 for Gen, OBC, SC/ST & PWD respectively.

The bank says of receiving ‘large number of applications’ & probably candidates with high IBPS scores will also have applied.So based on the no. of vacancies & ranking the top scorers, the bank ought to have settled for the above cutoff.

This simply means, there are many candidates with scores over 175 !
