With the introduction of IBPS common written exams, individual exams conducted by banks have become a thing of the past.Bank of Baroda & Manipal university while announcing the admissions for Baroda Manipal School of Banking (BMSB) 2014 batch have decided on an eligibility test in July month & we take you through its structure.

For the current year 2014-15, BMSB is to take in 3 batches (once every 4 months), each consisting of 300 students.
The procedure to gain entry into Baroda manipal school of banking goes through these 3 stages,
- Online Test

- Personal Interview
|the aim is to find people who are bright, have good communication skills (oral & written), are dedicated, can work effectively in teams, are passionate about their career goals and who display integrity and a positive attitude.|
Though students are to be admitted in batches once every 3 months, they shall be selected in advance through this single exam. The next recruitment exercise will happen only in the year 2015.
Baroda Manipal Test Pattern
Unlike regular banking exams involving OMR sheets this is not a written examination but an online test that is scheduled on August 14, 2014.It consists of the following papers.
Candidates will have to attend around 200 objective questions within 2 hours
|Currently there is only one book available for baroda manipal exam which we believe is available only on the internet. |
* BOB Manipal PO Exam Guide – Rs.233 – Buy online
Cutoff & Marks
A total of 200 marks is allotted for the online objective test. For each wrong answer, negative mark is awarded (could be 0.25)
Based on your performance in both tests cutoffs shall be fixed for each category.
BOB would then call those in the merit list for group discussion & personal interviews in the ratio of 1:4 (approx. 4000 candidates)
Exam Difficulty Level:
Although BOB hasn't mentioned anything about the level of questions, the pattern looks similar to that of IBPS PO exams. So expect moderate – difficult questions as there are only limited seats available per batch.
We contacted few candidates who appeared for last year`s test.
Though they were not able to recollect the question paper, most agreed that reasoning & quantitative aptitude sections played the tricky part.
Since the period to prepare for baroda manipal`s test is pretty long we suggest registrants to devote extra time for those two papers during preparations.
