After the announcement of Regional Rural Bank (RRB) exam results by IBPS, new vacancies are being advertised.The latest to join them are Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank, Shreyas Gramin Bank & Chaitanya Godavari Grameena Bank – each coming up with recruitment of officer cadre.As usual, only those who have passed in the RRB common written test can apply for these positions.
The number of jobs in rural banks is often less when compared with huge openings in public sector banks.But since there are over 82 RRBs in India & government pushing for financial inclusion hiring is expected in all of them.
This week 3 banks released their notifications & they are: Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank, Chaitanya Godavari Grameena Bank (AP) & Shreyas Gramin Bank (UP)
Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank
The bank formed in 2005 as a result of amalgamation of four other RRBs is sponsored by Syndicate Bank.Located in the state of Karnataka, KVG bank is present across 9 districts with 440 branches.
This rural bank has planned to recruit 35 scale I officers & 25 office assistants with approx emoluments of Rs.26,535 /month & Rs.14,680 /month respectively.The registrations start from December 12 & closes on 26th.
In addition to the mentioned eligibility conditions, applicants should have passed in Kannada language at matric/std.10 level.

Shreyas Gramin Bank
Sponsored by Canara Bank, the Shreyas Gramin Bank came into existence in 2006.With a presence of 200+ branches across 7 districts in India`s largest state – Uttar Pradesh, the bank is committed to improve the livelihood of common man in rural heartland.
A host of vacancies have been released by the bank that also include posts in scale II,III but in single digits.There are 66 office assistant & 36 officer vacancies for which the registrations shall be open from December 7 to 22, 2012.
It is required for candidates to have proficiency in Hindi language which they must have passed in std Xth over & above the prescribed qualifications.

Chaitanya Godavari Grameena Bank
In March 2006, the Chaitanya Godavari Grameena Bank (CGGB) was formed as per orders from Government of India.The bank`s operations are spread across the coastal belt of Andhra Pradesh state that house guntur, east & east godavari districts.
As part of the recruitment process to fill 15 Officer & 52 Office assistant posts, CGGB shall accept online applications from December 4 to 19th, 2012 only.
While the criteria to apply remains same, proficiency in telugu language is necessary. The individual should have passed in that subject in his/her matric/10th level exam.

Who are Eligible
For all positions, eligibility conditions are almost the same such as
- The applicant must be aged between 18 – 28 yrs for OI & OA cadre
- Pass in degree (any discipline) from a recognized university as on 1.06.2012
