The official notification about the RRB NTPC exams getting postponed has been released by Indian Railways.They have rescheduled the examinations for 8 centres including West Bengal & new dates have also been released.This is a good news for all those anxious candidates who were worried whether the RRB exams will be cancelled.

RRB Exams 2016: New Dates for 8 Centres
According to the latest notification, railway recruitment board has changed the dates only for 8 centres in India due to administrative reasons.They are:
- Allahabad – 6 centres
- Pune – 1
- Delhi – 1
- West Bengal (few centres)
The computer based tests (CBT) that are to be held in the following venues from April 26 – 30, 2016 will now be conducted in other centres on May 2 & 3.
Allahabad:

2) R. M. TECH, Beli Road, Near Jagram Chauraha
3) First Step Computer Center, H.V.M. Public School, Gulab Market Chakia
4) First Step E- Education, Chak Niratul
5) Vandana Institute of Management And Technology, Lucknow road
6) Mahashay Masuriyadeen Smarak Inter College & Computer Center, New Mumford Ganj
Pune:
1) JSPMs Rajarshi Shahu College Of Engineering, Tathawade
Delhi:
1) iON Digital Zone iDZ, Dwarka
Intimation about the changes are being sent to candidates through sms & email.
The other important point to note in this notice is – “Examination in other centres all over India will continue as per schedule”.

There is NO change in exams that were already completed in other states.So if you had appeared for the test before April 26 from a different city, you are not affected.
Notice for West Bengal Candidates:
On account of assembly elections in West Bengal, RRB Kolkatta has issued an announcement regarding allotment of exam centres.It says,
“…candidates who have opted their examination cities in the state of West Bengal but could not be accommodated within their 5 opted choices of exam cities, are being rescheduled for CEN-03/2015.”
They are also informing about this rescheduling process through sms & email following which the revised e-call letters must be downloaded from RRB kolkatta website.

‘There Was No Paper Leak’, says RRB Official
In another development related to the postponement of RRB NTPC exams,a news report in Indian express talks about the reasons for rescheduling the tests.
“We got information on irregularities at six centres in Allahabad.Also, a centre in Dwarka had caught fire.Therefore we have rescheduled in those places”. he explained.
“These are online exams and therefore there are no chances of such malpractices.” said an officer with the railway recruitment control board denying the news on paper leak.
Since the official notification has been released by RRB themselves, candidates can breathe a sigh of relief.Now you need not believe any website which says the rrb ntpc exams as cancelled.
If they still say the same, just show them this notification & ask them to read the last line.
