SBI PO Mains Exam New Pattern

new-exam-pattern-SBI-poWith lakhs of applicants for few thousand jobs, SBI has a huge task of filtering the right candidates from a large talent pool.

For this purpose only, they came up with a two tier exam process last year, similar to UPSC (civil services) that included – Preliminary & Main exams.

Now even more fine tuning has been done to make sure only the worthy persons are shortlisted for PO (officer) jobs.

Hereafter, the SBI PO Mains will be held in the following structure:

  • Objective Tests for 200 marks
  • Fixed time limit for each section
  • Descriptive paper for 25 marks
  • Both tests to be online only.

The duration of objective tests has been increased to 3 hours & will consist of 4 sections for a total of 200 marks.

Each section will have a specific time limit, within which candidates must complete it.
