Candidates who had applied for DMRC recruitment 2016 are now eligible to download their hall tickets for exams that start from February 14, 2017.It is part of the selection process to recruit 3000+ vacancies in the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).If you are looking for more information on examination dates & shift timings, proceed reading as we explain them all below.
DMRC recruitment 2016 notification was released to fill 3428 posts that include Assistant manager, Station controller/ Train operator, Customer relations assistant, Junior engineer, Account assistant & Maintainers.
Many of you would know have known the DMRC job profile & salary details & then submitted your applications.Therefore, the written test is scheduled to be held on different dates for each post by the delhi metro.
DMRC Recruitment Exams from Feb 14
As per the official release, DMRC has decided to start the online written examinations from 14th February upto Feb 28, 2017 across 3 shifts for few positions.
The duration of the test is 2 hours & 15 minutes (90 minutes for maintainers) where candidates have to attempt objective type questions in paper I & paper II.The shift timings are designed in the following manner:
- Shift 1: 07:30 AM -10:45 AM
- Shift 2: 11:00 AM – 2.15 PM
- Shift 3: 2.30 PM – 5.45 PM
Candidates must report 1 hour before commencement of test for bio-metric registration at test centers.
DMRC has also revealed the number of candidates who will be taking part in each shift which helps us to understand the level of competition.
- Total no of candidates: 4,90,791 (across all shifts)
- Top Post: Customer Relations Assistant – 1,82,518 applicants for 1100 vacancies
All the other positions have around 20,000 – 40,000 participants for less than 50 openings.This is enough for you to know the amount of interest for this DMRC recruitment (download notice)

Admit cards are available on delhi metro rail website (delhimetrorail.com), which all applicants should download as it is a compulsory document.
