Indian Bank has released the official notification for specialist officers recruitment 2022 for filling up vacancies in various grades. Indian bank, established in year 1907 is one among the leading public sector banks of India with which Allahabad Bank was merged in the year 2020.After the amalgamation, the bank now operates with Chennai as head office, having a nationwide presence with over 5700 branches and 37,000+ employees.
IBPS usually conducts the IBPS common written exam (CWE) for specialist officer positions every year for openings in public sector banks. But this recruitment is open to all eligible candidates, even if they have not appeared or qualified in IBPS exams.

Eligibility Conditions:
To apply for specialist officer posts in Indian bank, its necessary to fulfill the following criteria:
Manager (Credit):
- Should have completed CA/ ICWA as on 01.01.2022
- Age must be within 23 to 35 years
- Must have completed 3 years of work experience in Credit/ Finance
Assistant Manager (Industrial Development Officer):
- Must have completed B.E / B.TECH in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Chemical / Textile / Production / Civil, as on Jan 1, 2022.
- Age to be within 20 to 30 years
- Freshers are eligible to apply. No experience required.

Selection Process:
Depending on the number of applications received for each post, Indian bank may conduct written test and follow it with a personal interview OR candidates might be directly shortlisted for the interview stage.
If a written test is conducted, the following subjects will be part of the structure:
- Professional Knowledge – 60 questions
- English language – 20 questions
- General awareness – 20 questions
While there is no reduction of marks for unattended question, 0.25 marks shall be reduced for each wrong answer. There will be cutoff marks on the total score, based on which candidates will be shortlisted for Interview.
Steps for Registration
As usual, the application fee of Rs.850 (Gen/OBC) or Rs.175(SC/ST) must be paid through online mode, at the time of online registration.
- Visit indianbank.in, and click on the Recruitment of Specialist Officers 2022 link under ‘careers’,
- Enter the required details in the form and & complete the registration process.
- On successful submission, take a print of the application and fee payment receipt.
