Gujarat Metro Rail or MEGA in inviting online applications for recruitment of 600 vacancies of junior engineer & station controllers as part of its latest project. Ahmedabad – Gandhinagar metro rail project is handled by Metro-Link Express for Gandhinagar & Ahmedabad (MEGA) Company Ltd which is a special purpose vehicle (SPV) jointly owned by Govt of India & Govt of Gujarat.
Rail transportation in India has started evolving during the past few years with the launch of metro rail projects across the nation.This has opened yet another window of oppurtunity for young graduates to work in the govt sector.

Who are Eligible?
To apply for Gujarat metro rail (MEGA) recruitment, one needs to satisfy the following conditions for the desired posts:
Age Limit: 18 to 28 years as on April 30, 2017 (+3 yrs for OBC & + 5yrs for SC/ST)
Educational qualification: It differs for each post.So read the details carefully & refer the notification to confirm if you posses the required qualifications.
Station Controller/ Train Operator (SC/ TO): Diploma/ Degree in ElectricalMechanical / Electrical / Computer Science or Electronic discipline from a govt. recognized university/ institute.
Customer Relations Assistant (CRA):Must have completed any degree in Science Graduate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
Junior Engineer (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Civil): Diploma/ Degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Civil engineering or equivalent
Maintainer: Should have passed in SSLC pass with ITI (2 years) in Fitter / Electrician / Electronics discipline.
Candidates who are in their final year/ semester in the above mentioned degree/ diploma subjects are also eligible to apply, provided they are able to produce the original marksheet at the time of Interview.
