* Age not to have exceeded 30 years, as on 1.1.2013 (+5yrs for sc/st, +3yrs for obc)

Written Examination:
As part of the selection process SSC shall conduct a written exam comprising of
- Paper I containing objective type questions in General Awareness, English, General Intelligence & Reasoning for 200 marks.
- Paper II is of descriptive nature with question on language & literature opted
Similar to bank exams, individual cutoffs shall be prescribed for each paper & paper II would be evaluated only for those securing the minimum marks in paper I.
Based on your performance in written test, categorywise cutoffs will be calculated & candidates above it can expect Interview call.
