Unlike banking exams that follow two stages of exam – preliminary & main, the UIIC AO recruitment 2016 will have one written test only.
As explained earlier about UIIC AO exam pattern, there will be two papers as part of the online test.They are:
Both papers would be conducted on the same day itself, one after other.All candidates should complete the two papers for their appearance to be counted.

According to the job profile of UIIC AO, the role of administrative officer involves writing letters explaining the reason for rejecting a claim or to communicate with other departments requesting for information on specific policies.
It is necessary that candidates posses basic english knowledge so they are able to present their views in the right meaning.Hence we are seeing bank & insurance exams specifying descriptive english as a qualifying paper.
The descriptive paper contains only 2 questions, which should be answered on the computer only.
In 30 minutes, you are required to type answers for both questions using the keyboard & submit.Also there will be internal choices for each, i.e. you can select any 1 question from 3 choices.
Cutoffs: Although the marks wont be considered for calculating final scores, candidates should secure the minimum marks in descriptive test as well to qualify for interviews.
UIIC has already declared the descriptive english exam cutoffs for AO recruitment 2016. The previous year cutoffs was also on in the same range.
For the upcoming AO exams, GEN/ OBC candidates need to score atleast 15 marks & SC/ST have to secure 13.5 marks for passing in descriptive test.
| Even if any person has scored good marks in objective test but couldnt fetch the above cutoffs, they will still be disqualified from the entire selection process. |
