  • State bank of Bikaner & Jaipur (SBBJ) - 1000
  • State bank of Hyderabad (SBH) – 2200
  • State bank of Mysore (SBM) - 725
  • State bank of Travancore (SBT) - 1300
  • State bank of Patiala (SBP) – 1200

The scale of pay shall be Rs.7200 – 19300 with an approx. monthly salary of Rs.17500 in a metro city (could vary slightly based on posting location)

Online registration of applications: November 20 to December 9, 2014

Written examination: in the month of Jan or February

 

Am I Eligible?

Pay attention to the conditions specified by the bank before you proceed to apply as you will need provide proofs at the time of interviews.

 

  • Age to be within 20 - 28 years, as on 1.12.2014 (+5yrs for sc/st & +3 for obc)
  • Pass in degree from a recognized university as on Dec 1, 20124
  • Fluency in english (able to write/ speak) is required.
  • Knowledge of local language is desired but not compulsory

    Selection procedure:

    As part of the SBI associate bank`s recruitment process Written test & Interview are to be conducted.The online test consists only of Objective type questions under the sections,

    i) General Awareness (ii) General English (iii) Quantitative Aptitude (iv)Reasoning Ability (v) Marketing Aptitude /Computer Knowledge.

    There is no descriptive test for this clerk exam.

    While the bank shall decide qualifying marks, registrants must pass in each section. For every wrong answer – 0.25 would be reduced as negative mark

    While the application fee is Rs.100 (SC/ST/PWD/XS) & Rs.600 (all others), fees can be paid through

    • SBI branches

    Whatever be the method you choose, first submit the online application available at sbi.co.in.A fee payment challan will be generated that has to be used for fee payments.

     

    * From the 2nd day of registering fees can paid at any SBI branches within 3 working days.

     

    * A confirmation message for application registration will be sent by email/sms after 3 days following which you can reprint the application form by logging in again.

     

    For online payment, applicants can use their debit/ credit cards to pay, after submitting the application by making use of an integrated payment gateway.
