The Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) has announced the results of its online examination conducted for recruitment of Assistant Managers in Grade A cadre.A total of 100 vacancies were to be filled through this hiring.The bank doesnt participate in IBPS common recruitment process & hence held its own selection procedure to fill thse officer jobs.
SIDBI had issued their notification in the month of January 2016 for Recruitment of Officers in Grade ‘A’– General Stream.Of the 100 positions, 27, 15 & 8 posts were reserved for OBC, SC & ST.
Online Exam Results
Although the online registration of applications closed only on January 11, 2016, the online written examination was scheduled on Jan 24 itself.

Now in just 2 weeks time, SIDBI has come out with their results for the online test held on the above mentioned date.You can also download the file from their website here
The SIDBI exam pattern was similar to the older banking exams consisting of both objective & descriptive type of questions for 250 marks.For every wrong answer, they have reduced 0.25 mark.
What is the Cutoffs
According to SIDBI, the cutoffs are applied in two stages:
- On individual tests
- On Total Scores
A candidate who secures the necessary cutoff marks in both are only shortlisted for the Interview stage.Even if they are not able to pass in any one paper too, they are disqualified for the entire test.
The Assistant Manager cutoffs are not yet declared by the bank.Most probably, it shall be published in a week`s time or after completion of the entire recruitment process.
About the Interviews
Shortlisted candidates can get to know their interview date, location & time from the call letters.It should be downloaded SIDBI’s website after its made available online.
Interviews would be held at five centres viz. Chennai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai & New Delhi.
While appearing for Interviews, you are required to produce the original & attested copies of the following documents:
- Call letter printout
- Online application form print-out
- ID, Address & Birth date proof
- Mark sheets & other graduation certificates
- Caste certificate as per prescribed format
- Any other documents to prove relaxation benefits such as age, disability etc.,
