The SBI Clerk Mains 2016 Results are finally OUT!! 
There is always a sense of excitement whenever State Bank of India announces hiring for new jobs.It was no different for SBI clerk (junior associates) recruitment with lakhs of aspirants applying for the exams.With the release of main exam results, it is sure to come as a huge relief for many waiting fans.
State Bank of India, the country’s public bank had advertised to fill 17000 vacancies of Junior Associates & Junior Agricultural Associate in the month of April 2016.
Based on the preliminary examination was held on May 22, 28, 29 & June 4, 5, approximately 3 lakh candidates may have been shortlisted for the mains.
SBI Mains 2016 & The Final List
The main examination was conducted by SBI on June 25 & 26, 2016.Although it was an online test, declaration of results took a longer time, which irked many candidates.
After nearly 4 months of mains, the bank has published the main exam results for Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales), Junior Agricultural Associates positions.
The list consisting of roll nos. of provisionally selected candidates is available for download from their website below:

Final Appointments – No Interviews
SBI in its official notification calls these results as ‘Final result for Appointment’ which means, there is no interview process.
They have also stated that “….selected candidates are being advised by way of SMS seperately.Please await further instructions from SBI local head office of your State.”
If you find your roll number in the above list, then expect some formal communication from the SBI head office located in your state.It may be probably through an email/ SMS.

Those procedures are:
- Qualifying the Proficiency test in Local Language
- Fulfilment of eligibility criteria/ conditions as prescribed in the SBI recruitment advertisement.
- Correctness of information given by the candidate at the time of registration (verification)
Therefore, you should make sure to fulfil all the above criteria.
